Our Vision and Mission

Our Vision is to be celebrated as the leading advocate for water quality in our watershed because of our

  • capacity to get the job done,
  • talent for securing financial support,
  • support of lake associations, and

Our mission shall be to promote the understanding and management of our lakes and watershed, fostering their restoration and preservation for today and for the future.

Who We Are...

Tippecanoe Watershed Foundation (TWF) was established in 1997 from the Lake Tippecanoe Property Owners Association to focus on the restoration and preservation efforts of the Upper Tippecanoe river Watershed, location in parts of Kosciusko, Whitley, and Noble Counties.

TWF is a separate and distinct organization, focused solely on the water quality within the watershed. TWF is an approved private 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit Indiana Corporation working directly with the lake associations' desire to perpetuate the benefits of our natural lakes heritage. For more info on how TWF complements lake associations please select this document

The Foundation believes in maximizing the benefits of the lakes use by citizens while undertaking defined steps to protect their future. It is the Foundation's purpose to seek out and provide funding for watershed and lake enhancement projects that will assure the future of the water quality.
